This is a picture of the Blue Ridge Summit Industrial Switcher #1. This is the first loco that Bill Koster ever built. Both axles are powered by a single 1/2 HP motor. It operates on 12 volts DC. It is capable of pulling one car with one adult and one child up a four percent grade. It was rebuilt for the Blue Ridge Summit Railroad in 1997. This loco has been transfered to the Sebring Southern RR.
