Wilkes Telecommunications is a different kind of business - a membership corporation. We are not like the giant telecoms trying to amass huge profits, and we are not like privately owned telcos, who are also profit-driven but on a smaller scale. We are a company owned by our members and we are service-driven.

Our primary mission is to provide you with the latest and best communications services at affordable prices, but we also have a responsibility to our community. We don't just work here. We live here.

Because we are your neighbors, Wilkes Telecommunications supports many community programs. We work with our schools and numerous community and charitable organizations. We sponsor a college scholarship program and work closely with public safety officials to provide E-911 service. Our commitment to our community is personal.
